The first time Stijn Hüwels and Cok van Vuuren collaborated with Michel Banabila was in April 2020. They made an extremely peaceful 12-minute track in reaction to all the upheaval in the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to soothe some of the stress and calm you down. The track was picked up by Apple Music and added to one of their playlists, "Pure Meditation', resulting in over 665.000 streams in just a few months, still increasing to this day. Droney synths and imaginative electronics are mixed with space guitars, all infused with analog elusive layers of tape echo and reverb.

NIEUWE NOTEN:
De samenwerking tussen Banabila en Hüwels en Van Vuren, de eerste is te horen op elektrische gitaar, de tweede op een dobro en een mando-gitaar, dateert uit het voorjaar van 2020 toen Corona net had toegeslagen. Verbazen doet ons dat niet, het titelstuk dat toen ontstond, sluit qua sfeer perfect aan bij deze maanden waarin alles leek stil te staan. In dit ‘One Moment in Time’ gebeurt dan ook helemaal niets, het is een nevel aan klank, niet meer en niet minder. Het tweede stuk, ‘Across The Sky / Massive’ klinkt aanvankelijk niet wezenlijk anders, tot er na ruim vier minuten een ritme insluipt dat overigens na enige minuten ook weer net zo snel verdwijnt. In de plaats komen sfeervolle gitaarklanken, aangevuld met Banabila’s sfeervolle klankgolven. Ook dit stuk blijkt dus vooral een intieme klanknevel, waar overigens vanzelfsprekend niets mis mee is.
