This is a fascinating aural travelogue that really piques the imagination and engages strong sensory perceptions for me; bringing the 'inward journey' to life. Koner brings an amazing (and surprising) range of emotions to the fore...there are so many stories being told here and more is unravelled with each listen... I find myself unwittingly drawn back to these pieces time and again, trying to 'fill in the gaps' and enhance his aural scenarios (or "Sonic Cartography", as Koner calls it) with my own imagination.You can dwell in one location or submit to the ever-moving diaspora... A truly absorbing and engrossing experience.

Most probably one of the bleakest and darkest work from Thomas Köner, this 37-minutes tribute to Marinetti also emphasizes our relationships with relative speed and the place of machines in our world. The tempo is stretched to its critical point behind hidden mechanics working in slow motion in the shadows. Adding whispered poetry like he somehow did on Zyklop in the past, this piece of expansive minimalism temporarily stops the time to better reflect the instant into the eternity.
